It is intended that at the end of the training, the trainee will be able to operationalize the knowledge they have obtained in order to explore, prepare and analyze data using Power Query (from Excel) and carry out statistical analyzes with Excel, as well as carry out the respective interpretation and reporting of results (e.g., with dashboards).

Graduated in management, from the European University, and Master, also in management, from Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. His interest in Excel arose a little before the pandemic began, as it was at that time that he began to investigate more about how to predict the results of football games. Therefore, he started researching free databases on the internet with football data and started building his own Excel files and analyses. He later developed a statistical model that predicts the results of football matches in Europe’s five main championships (Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Portuguese Primeira Liga).

The entire model automation process was built using Power Query to prepare and understand the data and report results using an Excel dashboard.
